Project Context

For Telenet, innovation, development and expansion of its network are top priorities. This cannot be achieved without a performant organizational structure, in which it is important to integrate several technology teams.

Business Objectives

The main objective of the project was defining and implementing a new organizational structure within the Service Assurance Departement, thereby maximizing synergies by increasing collaboration between the two (fiber and coax) teams. Defining clear roles and responsibilities was crucial to shape the new organization within the department.

Once the new department organization was established, the process architecture was redesigned and underlying processes were optimized.

Project approach

Change is never easy. As changing a department structure is a very sensitive topic,  good preparation and analysis are essential.

Involving all impacted management levels and the major stakeholders, we were able to develop and assess several scenarios for organization design.

By updating roles and responsibilities to suit the target organization, sculpting the process architecture and using methodologies aligned with industry standards, processes were optimized.

In order to make the transition into the new organization structure as smooth as possible, Ideas at work applied proven change management methodologies and best practices.
